Ultralight carbon rims – new shape

The ultralight Elite race disc carbon rims are a game-changer. They outperform aluminum rims in every respect. A dedicated "special tasks" team experimented with their shape, among other things, to minimize weight and maximize aero performance.

Elite race models are light and dynamic and will fully satisfy two-wheeled enthusiasts who are 100% focused on achieving maximum speed.

The Elite 50 race disc wheels feature a precise high-taper design and a distinctive feature: full-carbon aero spokes. This allows us to offer you a set with the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio ever.

What did our innovations achieve? Reducing the number of spokes and replacing standard steel spokes with stronger and stiffer carbon spokes, utilizing aero design, allowed forces to be distributed evenly across the entire wheel set, creating an unparalleled synergy of performance and comfort.

This ingenious setup not only delivers the lightning-fast acceleration for which carbon spokes are renowned, but also an incredibly smooth ride. Road vibrations are now evenly dispersed throughout the wheel rather than being directed directly at the bike, significantly reducing road noise compared to our Elite race 50 wheels.

These innovations also make our road bike wheelset over 90 grams lighter than the standard steel spoked version, while outperforming them in stiffness tests.

100% carbon aero spokes with twist!

We're unbeatable when it comes to weight reduction in bicycles. We've abandoned steel and aluminum to maximize the unique properties of carbon fiber and its ability to create complex, precise shapes that minimize wheel weight. 

Aero spokes – we paid particular attention to this important element. This class of wheels required a completely new approach. Using 100% carbon isn't everything .

Traditional carbon fiber spokes, which mimicked their steel counterparts, featured single-link metal interfaces at both ends. While lighter and stiffer than steel or even aluminum spokes, this approach didn't fully utilize the potential of carbon fiber.  

The new feature is the 2:1 lacing . By using full carbon spokes and reducing their number, we've managed to reduce weight, achieving as much as 19% greater stiffness . 

This is how the groundbreaking aerodynamic spokes were created under the No Limited patent .

Innovative hubs with No Limited patent – stiffness and comfort

Why are the No Limited Elite race carbon road wheels a completely new level of quality? Our engineers were given an "impossible" mission: designing a road wheel set that would enhance ride comfort while surpassing anything previously created in terms of stiffness.

The launch of the Elite race disc also marks the launch of No Limited's new patented hubs, designed exclusively for this rim model. Their flanges have been enlarged to improve lateral stiffness. To reduce rolling resistance, the hubs are equipped with ceramic bearings as standard.

Our Elite race wheel hubs are built using the stragith pull system . Power transfer is handled by a reliable ratchet system. In the Elite series, this has been upgraded to a 36-tooth ratchet system . This provides a 10-degree engagement angle and a more refined freehub body sound – a pleasant side effect of these innovations.
